Connecting Your Phone for AI Voicemails

FINNY allows you to automate voicemails as part of your outreach campaigns. By connecting your phone number, you can generate personalized voicemail scripts (with AI assistance) and deliver them directly to prospects — either as a standalone touchpoint or alongside an email follow-up.


Why Connect Your Phone?

  • Send AI-generated voicemails directly from campaigns.

  • Keep outreach multi-channel (email + phone).

  • Log all voicemail attempts in Prospect Cards for tracking.

Voicemails can be paired with an automated follow-up email, so prospects know you called and can reply via email even if they don’t pick up.


How to Connect Your Phone

  1. Log in to your FINNY account.

  2. Go to Settings → Integrations.

  3. Scroll to the Phone Integration section.

  4. Enter your mobile phone number.

  5. Complete the quick verification step (you’ll receive a confirmation code).

  6. Once verified, your number is connected and ready to use in campaigns.


Using AI Voicemails in Campaigns

  1. When designing a campaign, add a Voicemail step.

  2. Either:

    • Write your own script, or

    • Click Generate with AI to have FINNY create a personalized voicemail based on the prospect’s profile and campaign context.

  3. Optionally, enable “Send follow-up email” so prospects receive both a voicemail and a reminder in their inbox.

  4. Preview the script and save.


Personalization Options

  • Merge fields: Insert variables like {{First Name}} or {{Company Name}}.

  • AI personalization: Ask FINNY to include custom anecdotes or background details from the prospect’s profile.

  • Signature consistency: Keep your tone aligned with the rest of your outreach by reusing your email sign-off.

Just like emails, voicemail scripts can include locked sections (always consistent) and personalized sections (unique per prospect).


Best Practices

  • Keep voicemails under 30 seconds.

  • State your name, company, and value proposition clearly.

  • Always pair a voicemail with a follow-up email to maximize response rates.

  • Test different voicemail scripts and track conversion impact in Campaign Analytics.


Troubleshooting

Number not verifying: Make sure you’ve entered a mobile or VoIP-enabled number that can receive text verification codes.

Missed voicemails: If delivery fails, check that the prospect’s number is valid and properly formatted in their Prospect Card.
