Connecting Gmail to FINNY

Last updated: February 11, 2026

FINNY integrates directly with Gmail so all emails you send through FINNY come from your own inbox. This ensures better deliverability, consistent branding, and full visibility into your outreach.

Why Connect Gmail?

  • Emails are sent from your Gmail account, not a proxy server.

  • Messages appear in your Sent folder just like any other email.

  • Protects your domain health with built-in safeguards.

  • Enables campaign automation with personalization and sequencing.

Connecting Gmail ensures your outreach looks authentic and avoids being flagged as spam.

How to Connect Gmail

  1. Log in to your FINNY account.

  2. Go to Settings → Integrations.

  3. Select Connect Gmail.

  4. A Google login screen will open. Choose the account you want to connect.

  5. Grant FINNY the necessary permissions (send email, view mailbox).

  6. Once approved, you’ll see Gmail listed as Connected under Integrations.

Sending Emails After Integration

When you run multiple campaigns simultaneously, FINNY processes them sequentially to stay within the 100‑email daily limit.

  • Campaign queuing: FINNY completes one campaign before starting the next to maintain the 100‑email daily limit.

  • Progress indicators: Newer campaigns may show low progress percentages while waiting for previous campaigns to complete.

  • Planning consideration: Factor in sequential processing when scheduling multiple campaigns.

Additionally, FINNY includes intelligent timing features:

  • Weekend scheduling: Campaigns started on Fridays automatically begin sending on the following Monday.

  • Delivery optimization: Ensures campaigns have adequate weekday delivery time for better engagement.

  • Business hours focus: Helps maintain professional outreach timing.

  • All emails sent from FINNY are delivered via your Gmail inbox.

  • You can view them in your Sent folder as if you had sent them manually.

  • FINNY automatically manages:

    • Send limits: up to 100 emails/day to protect your domain.

    • Bounce protection: every email is checked before sending.

    • Smart throttling: emails are sent at natural intervals, not all at once.

Even though Gmail allows higher daily send volumes, FINNY caps at 100/day for your safety. This helps keep bounce rates low and ensures long-term deliverability.

Troubleshooting Gmail Integration

  • If Gmail disconnects, revisit Settings → Integrations and reconnect.

  • Check your Google Workspace admin settings if permissions are restricted.

  • Make sure your Gmail signature is updated in Settings so it appears in all FINNY emails. Note that signature fonts match your email client's default font (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) and cannot be changed independently in FINNY. Use the "See what my signature looks like in my inbox" feature in Settings to preview how your signature will appear to recipients and adjust formatting as needed.

  • To switch to a different email address: Contact FINNY support to disconnect your current integration. Once disconnected, go to Settings → Integrations and connect your new email address following the standard connection steps. Note that any active campaigns will pause during the change and can be restarted once the new inbox is connected.

If Gmail is disconnected, FINNY cannot send your campaigns. Always verify your integration before launching.

Once Gmail is connected, you’re ready to run campaigns, send one-off emails, and track responses directly from your FINNY dashboard.
