Connecting LinkedIn to FINNY

FINNY integrates with LinkedIn so you can send connection requests, messages, and campaign steps directly within the platform. It also enriches your Prospect Cards with social connections, giving you more warm introduction opportunities.

How to Connect LinkedIn
Log in to your FINNY account.
Go to Settings → Integrations.
Select Connect LinkedIn.
A LinkedIn login screen will appear. Enter your LinkedIn credentials.
Approve FINNY’s access permissions.
Once approved, LinkedIn will appear as Connected under Integrations.
Using LinkedIn in Campaigns
Once connected, you can include LinkedIn steps in any campaign:
Connection Request
Add a LinkedIn step to send a connection request (with or without a note).
Direct Message
Send LinkedIn messages as follow-ups in your campaign flow.
Use merge fields (e.g., name, job title, company).
Add AI personalization for tailored openings or anecdotes.
Multi-Channel Sequences
Combine email + LinkedIn touchpoints for maximum engagement.
Stagger outreach to feel natural and avoid overwhelming the prospect.
Campaign Flow Behavior:
Email steps will proceed according to your campaign timeline regardless of whether LinkedIn connection requests are accepted
LinkedIn messages will only be sent if the prospect accepts your connection request first
Campaign steps may be automatically skipped if a prospect doesn't have a LinkedIn profile to connect with, or if they don't accept your connection request (preventing follow‑up messages from being sent)
The timing between steps is controlled by the "Days Until Next Event" setting in your campaign
Example flow: Day 1 – LinkedIn connection → Day 3 – Email introduction → Day 7 – LinkedIn follow-up.
Prospect Cards & LinkedIn
When LinkedIn is connected:
Each Prospect Card shows the prospect’s LinkedIn profile link.
If you share mutual connections, they appear on the card.
You can open LinkedIn directly to engage outside of FINNY if needed.
Troubleshooting LinkedIn Integration
If the connection expires, revisit Settings → Integrations to reconnect.
LinkedIn sometimes enforces weekly connection/message limits — FINNY respects these caps automatically.
If campaign steps fail, check that your LinkedIn account is still active and not restricted.
Campaigns may show as "complete" despite having uncompleted steps when LinkedIn steps are automatically skipped due to missing profiles or unaccepted connection requests. Review individual prospect analytics to understand which steps were executed versus skipped.
Overusing LinkedIn outreach (too many connection requests or messages per day) can trigger account restrictions. Stick with FINNY’s defaults to stay safe.
