Setting up your Workspace

Once your FINNY account is created, the next step is to set up your workspace. Your workspace is the home base where you’ll manage your profile, integrations, and team preferences. Taking a few minutes here ensures your campaigns and outreach run smoothly.
1. Update Your Profile & Onboarding Info
Go to ⚙ Settings (bottom-left).
Edit basic details like name, email, and password.
Revisit your Onboarding Survey:
Update advisor details (location, certifications, etc.).
Adjust client personas (demographics, interests, zip codes).
Refine your value proposition and importance of “money-in-motion” events (e.g., retirement, promotion, property sale).
Upload sample outreach emails so FINNY can align AI-generated messages with your tone of voice.
2. Add Proof Points & Materials
In Settings → Uploads, you can add:
De-identified client lists (to prevent outreach to existing clients).
Proof Points: blog posts, articles, press mentions, or YouTube content that FINNY can reference in campaigns.
Credibility Boosters: awards, certifications, or media features to strengthen your outreach messaging.
3. Connect Your Tools
Email Integration: Link Gmail or Outlook so messages are sent directly from your inbox. To change your connected email address later, contact FINNY support to disconnect your current integration, then go to Settings → Integrations to authenticate the new email. Note that active campaigns will pause during the change and can be restarted once the new inbox is connected.
LinkedIn: Connect your account to view mutual connections on Prospect Cards.
Phone Number: Add a number to enable AI voicemails.
CRM (optional): Use BCC to send all outreach into your CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
4. Adjust Notification & Email Preferences
Opt in/out of FINNY sending emails on your behalf.
Customize notification settings for campaign activity, prospect responses, and reminders.
Ensure your email signature is up to date—it will be appended to outreach campaigns.
5. Invite Your Team (if applicable)
Add colleagues to your workspace to collaborate on campaigns.
Assign roles based on who should manage campaigns, prospect lists, or account settings.
(Note: if you’re a solo advisor, this step may not apply.)
6. Verify Security Settings
Review access and ensure only authorized team members can view sensitive prospect data.
✅ Once your workspace is set up, you’re ready to move on to exploring your personalized Feed, where FINNY surfaces the highest-match prospects for you.
