How to setup campaign scheduling and timing

Setup Campaign Scheduling

  1. When creating a new campaign, note that campaigns cannot be launched on the same day due to timezone considerations and email scheduling algorithms

  2. Set your campaign start date to begin at midnight of the following business day at the earliest

  3. Configure the "days until next event" settings between campaign steps - it's recommended to set at least 1 day between each step to protect your email domain health

  4. Be aware that the system enforces a daily email limit of 50-100 emails per day (depending on your account settings), so campaigns with large prospect lists will automatically be scheduled across multiple days

  5. When you have multiple campaigns already live or scheduled, new campaigns will be automatically pushed to later start dates to find available days in the sending schedule. The system executes campaigns sequentially and respects daily limits across all active campaigns, so a new campaign may be delayed by several days or weeks depending on your existing campaign queue.

  6. Allow time for the campaign generation process, which includes email body generation (if variable fields are used), email verification of recipients, and scheduling mechanism design

Usage

Campaign generation time varies based on campaign size and complexity. Smaller campaigns generate faster, while larger campaigns may take up to 24 hours to fully generate. The generation process includes multiple automated tasks to ensure optimal delivery and email domain protection. You can view your complete sending schedule and see when each campaign is queued to send by checking the Calendar view at app.finny.com/campaigns.

To edit a Pending campaign before it launches, open the campaign and click into each step you want to modify. Edit the text for LinkedIn messages or email copy, then save each step. Your changes will automatically apply to all upcoming batches once the campaign launches.

If your campaign appears stuck at 99% generated, contact support for assistance as this may require manual intervention to complete the process.

Remember that setting 0 days between campaign steps may still result in automatic delays due to email rate limiting and domain health protection features built into the platform.
